The treaty comprises two sections. The first refers to refers to musical genres, from those based on the sequence, to the sonata symphonic, concertante, musical dramatic and vocal symphonic. The second part deals with the elements of musical morphology and syntax, as well as with the most important formal structures in the classical repertoire. Each chapter is studded with extensive analyzes of works from the classical, romantic and modern repertoire.
