TERMS OF USE

Welcome to harmahub.eu! These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of this website, which supports the HaRMA HUB project—an Erasmus+ KA220 Cooperation Partnership in Higher Music Education (2023–2026), coordinated by the Conservatoire royal de Bruxelles and co‑funded by the European Union.
By using this Site, you agree to these Terms in full. If you disagree with any term, you must not use the Site.
1. About the Project and Site
HarMA HUB (“Harmony and Music Analysis HUB”) is a three‑year Erasmus+ KA220 project (Project ID: 23PCS0001) that aims to:

Develop an open online platform featuring a music analysis repository, a European bibliography, and a multilingual glossary;

Organise two intensive “HarMA Week” training sessions—one for staff and one for students;

Launch a peer‑reviewed journal in music theory;

Host dissemination events and the annual HarMA International Seminar
The Site serves as the official online presence and resource hub for HarMA HUB, operated by the Conservatoire royal de Bruxelles.
2. Access and Registration

Access to the Site is free; certain services may require registration (e.g., journal submission, HarMA Week enrolment).

You agree that all information provided during registration is accurate, up-to-date, and truthful.
3. Intellectual Property

All content on the Site—including text, images, videos, logos, tools, and downloadable materials—is owned by HarMA HUB partners or used with permission.

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to view and download content for personal, educational or research purposes related to music theory.

Any other use—copying, reproduction, distribution, modification, public display—is strictly prohibited without prior written permission.
4. Acceptable Use
Your use of the Site must comply with:

Respect for intellectual property and third-party rights;

Security protocols—do not attempt to compromise the Site’s security or functionality;

The Site may include links to external sites (e.g., publisher journals, partner institutions). HarMA HUB is not responsible for the content, accuracy, or policies of those sites, and linking does not imply endorsement.
7. Privacy & Data Protection
Use of the Site may involve the collection of personal data (e.g., name, contact, uploads). Such data is handled under our Privacy Policy, in compliance with GDPR and Belgian law. Please review that policy for details on data collection, retention, usage, security, and your rights.
8. Modifications to Terms
HarMA HUB reserves the right to update these Terms. Users will be informed of substantial changes via the Site or email. Continued use after modifications constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
9. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by Belgian law and any disputes shall be resolved by the courts of the Brussels‑Capital Region.
