If in the large forms of the classics (Rondo, Variations, Sonata) the construction and the modifications to their pattern is subjected to new stylistic elements, in the small forms they are generally less visible. Apparently, the aspects of the short forms remain the same as in the Baroque period, observing with the change of styles more or less transformations, the small forms remain morphologically similar to those of the Baroque.
